How to record your screen on iPhone or Android
No mobile browser lets a web page record the device screen. This is not a gap in the recorder — Safari on iOS and Chrome on Android simply do not implement the API. Both operating systems have a perfectly good recorder built in.
iPhone and iPad
Open Settings, Control Centre, and add Screen Recording. Then swipe down from the top-right corner and press the record button. Press and hold it first if you want to record your microphone too.
Recordings are saved to Photos as MP4. There is no time limit beyond your storage.
Android
Swipe down twice to open Quick Settings and look for Screen record. If it is not there, edit the tile list and add it. The dialog asks whether to record audio and whether to show taps.
Recordings land in your gallery, usually as MP4. Samsung, Xiaomi and others each add their own options on top.
What still works on a phone
This site is readable on a phone, and the guides are useful there. The recorder page itself will tell you plainly that your browser cannot capture the screen rather than failing silently.
