How to record your screen and webcam together
A camera overlay puts your face in the corner of the recording. Because it is drawn into the picture as you record, the file you download already contains it — no editing needed.
Turning it on
Switch the camera on before you press start. The browser asks for camera permission when recording begins, not before.
Moving it
While recording, drag the overlay to any corner and pull its handle to resize it. What you see is exactly what is being written to the file. Arrow keys nudge it if you would rather not use a mouse.
The one trade-off
Compositing the camera means the page has to draw every frame, so this path uses more processor than a plain screen recording. On an older laptop, a very large screen plus a camera overlay can drop frames; shrinking the output helps.
