How to record your screen with sound
There are two separate things people mean by "with sound": your voice, and the sound coming from the thing on screen. They are captured differently and have very different support.
Your voice
Turn on the microphone before you start. This works in every browser on every platform. Test it first — the recorder has a level meter for exactly this.
Sound from the screen
This is captured by the browser, not by the page, and you enable it in the browser’s own picker. Chrome and Edge show "Share tab audio" when sharing a tab, and "Share system audio" when sharing a whole screen on Windows. Both are off by default.
Firefox and Safari do not offer either. macOS does not expose system audio to any browser.
Both at once
If you enable the microphone and the browser also provides source audio, the two are mixed into a single track. You do not need to do anything.
